Post-doc work for AGEL survey.

The AGEL Survey

My first post-doc was with the AGEL survey team. During this time, I worked to establish the framework for the AGEL project policies and data management plan, as well as set up the permanent AGEL data archive. This involved creating frameworks and documentation to follow. Examples of two such documents are shown below.

The AGEL Team Roadmap

The Team Roadmap is a document that summarizes:

  • Onboarding new researchers and offboarding leaving team members
  • What resources we have
  • What reserachers were actively involved and their contact info
  • What data products we had on hand and where to find them (which meant wrangling data from a bunch of different scientists…)
  • Some links to tutorials and examples that may help new researchers getting started

The AGEL Data Policies and Management Plan

The Data Policies and Management Plan is a document that summarizes:

  • Best practicies for data handling
  • Instructs users on how to create their Dataverse accounts and upload data to the established AGEL Dataverse archive
  • Creating README files for published data
